This is my Yamaha SR500. Its a single pot and was a joy to
ride, this was taken just before I sold it as a bigger and better
toy had come along. Great little bike, I once towed a scooter
back from Brugge to Calais when SHAG MAG went on the Belguim
Eurodemo in 1990ish.
This is a 'Revenge' built by Pete
Jenks, its got a Volvo engine and is all hand made. Thw whole
engine and gearbox were in this bike and it made for a large
turning circle. he did fit a yellow miniskip as a sidecar for
the Paris Eurodemo to carry the gear. On this trip it wrote off
a Peugeot 505 after he pulled out of a side turning in Paris.
The car was sandwiched between 'Revenge' and a lamp post. Pete
just stuck it in reverse removed the skip from the car door exchanged
details and carried on his merry way leaving a very confused
Frenchman a lot of explaining to do.
We decided that Volvos needed a new safety feature this is our one and only prototype!
